Blueberry Bonanza

Sweet comfort food for all ages. This crumble tastes even better topped with a scoop of ice cream.

INGREDIENTS:

  • For the filling:
  • 8 cups fresh blueberries (about a kilogram)
  • 1/3 cup golden brown sugar, packed
  • 3/4 cup orange juice
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • For topping:
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/3 cup butter, at room temperature
  • 1/3 cup golden brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • Pinch ground cloves
  • Pinch ground nutmeg
  • 3 Tbsp. flour

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Combine the filling ingredients in a bowl and then spoon into a 9-inch x 13-inch baking dish.br />
    Mix the topping ingredients together until well combined. Sprinkle over the filling.
  2. Bake the crumble for 35 to 40 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly. Serve warm or at room temperature.
