Pear and Gorgonzola Salad
Subtle pear flavour, sharp Gorgonzola and crunchy nuts make this a delicious salad.

INGREDIENTS:
- 5 oz Butter Lettuce Leaves (large leaves torn into pieces and small leaves left intact)
- 1 Pear (cored and thinly sliced)
- ½ cup crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
- ½ cup Toasted, chopped walnuts
- BALSAMIC VINAIGRETTE:
- 2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
- ½ tsp minced garlic
- ½ tsp Dijon mustard
- 6 Tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp salt (or to taste)
- ¼ tsp Freshly ground black pepper
DIRECTIONS:

In a large salad bowl, whisk together the vinegar, garlic and mustard. Slowly add the oil in a thin stream, whisking steadily. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Add the lettuce, pears, Gorgonzola and walnuts, and toss gently to coat. Serve immediately.
