Oma’s Sautéed Apples

INGREDIENTS:
8 apples, peeled and sliced; any kind but Granny Smith’s
¼ cup butter
1 tbsp lemon juice
a handful of walnuts, pecans or almonds
shake of salt over surface

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Heat on high until hot. Cook on medium-low for a total of 20 minutes. Distribute nuts over top before serving.
