Oma’s Sautéed Apples

INGREDIENTS:

  • 8 apples, peeled and sliced; any kind but Granny Smith’s
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • a handful of walnuts, pecans or almonds
  • shake of salt over surface

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Heat on high until hot. Cook on medium-low for a total of 20 minutes. Distribute nuts over top before serving.
