Oma’s Sautéed Apples
8 apples, peeled and sliced; any kind but Granny Smith’s
¼ cup butter
1 tbsp lemon juice
a handful of walnuts, pecans or almonds
shake of salt over surface
COURSE: Vegetables and Sides
- Heat on high until hot. Cook on medium-low for a total of 20 minutes. Distribute nuts over top before serving.
