Peach Clafouti

One of family's old time favourite desserts

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup milk (2% or 3.8%)
  • 1 cup 10% cream
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 large jar of canned peach slices or 4 large fresh peaches, peeled and each one sliced into 8 slices

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Heat the oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Drain the peaches and place in a large round buttered and sugared flan dish. Blend all other ingredients (except the peaches) in a blender on high, for 2 minutes.
  3. Pour over the peaches and bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until lightly golden on top.
