Tea Salad Dressing

A neat way to make a milder salad dressing

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup oil
  • 1 cup strong black tea
  • ½ cup vinegar
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp dried basil
  • 6 tbsp white sugar
  • 6 chopped garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp powdered mustard 1 tsp pepper 2 tsp salt

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Blend in a food processor or blender until smooth. Store in the fridge in a jar or bottle. Serve over a salad of spinach, strawberries, blue cheese, red onions, and toasted pine nuts.
