Apple and Almond relish
used in Curried Cauliflower Soup
1 tbsp butter
1 tsp honey
1 granny Smith apple, peeled and finely died
4 tbsp coarsely chopped toasted almonds
1 tbsp fine chopped fresh chives
COURSE: Sauces and Salsas
- Melt the butter and honey in a small saute pan over medium heat. Add the apple and almonds and cook gently for 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and cool.
- When the relish has cooled to room temperature, stir in the chives.
